Nyabihu Christian Academy (NCA) is an RCRI-owned & operated private school located in the town of Shaba in Nyabihu District, Western Province.
There are currently approximately 275 students enrolled, ranging from ages four to eleven years old, all of whom are RCRI-supported children. The school is currently accepting students in Pre-K through P5 (equivalent to US 5th Grade).
At NCA, these children’s education expenses such as school fees, uniforms, medical insurance, and school supplies are fully provided by Reach the Children of Rwanda International.
Values
All children attending are mentored with values that will enable them to become God-fearing and productive citizens of Rwanda and become a light of hope: a testimony that God can use anyone to the glory of His name.
Future
The ultimate goal of Nyabihu Christian Academy is to bring together all children that RCRI supports across Rwanda into one school where they can live and study, supporting one another.
Construction
Nyabihu Christian Academy is still growing. Ultimately, the school campus will include dormitories for both girls and boys, living quarters for teachers and caretakers, recreational facilities, and additional classroom blocks.
